using PlasticWatch Sri Lanka | srilanka.plasticwatch.org (the “Site”), you agree to these
terms.
1. Purpose of the site
The Site

and illegal waste dumping,
- health risks (respiratory diseases,
cancer, etc.),
- applicable laws (national regulations,
penalties),
- contact information of
competent authorities (CEA, environmental police, regional offices).
The Site
allows citizens to report locations where waste (plastic, garbage) is burned or
dumped illegally, in order to inform and help environmental authorities. It

to harass, threaten, or harm others.
- You must not use the Site for
illegal activities.
- Abusive reports (spam, false)
will be deleted and the IP address may be blocked.
3. Anonymous or verified reports
- A report without an email
is anonymous but unverified. It will be visible for 30 days,
then automatically deleted.
- A report with an email allows
you to receive a verification code. Once verified, it remains visible
indefinitely (unless deleted by the administrator if deemed non‑compliant).
- You are responsible for keeping
your email address. We cannot recover an account without an email.
4. Accuracy of information
We do not
verify the truth of each report. Only the authorities are competent to inspect
and take action. The Site cannot be held responsible for an erroneous report.
5. Role of authorities
Reports are
intended for the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) and the environmental
police. The Site does not guarantee that every report will lead to action.
